TWW admits lack of insight

After listening to our Leader's speech on healthcare last night and agreeing with much of what he said (assuming he really means it) right up until where he had the solution for covering everyone but then as an afterthought added having a public option that would break even like Medicare and Medicaid do, TWW finally realized what affordable health insurance is: it's free. That is why all the people who get affordable health insurance from employers tax-free are happy with what they have and not interested in losing it. Until TWW hears someone define affordable as a dollar amount that is not zero, free healthcare must be what our Leader and loyal followers mean when they use the term. If anyone has heard the term defined differently please leave comments with links where affordable is defined.

Another Quality Job by HEAC

Thanks to a capable crew from the Hunter Erection Assistance Company (HEAC) TWW now has a place to hunt so the deer won't smell him as easily. The HEAC crew moved his stand from the area by the driveway (TWW's original stand site) to a place where there may actually be some deer.

They claim it is a screen print of web page (now taken down) at Organizing for America (Barack Obama's web site -- see http://www.barackobama.com/ ). This seems to mean if you are against our Leader's health care plan (if you can figure out what it really is) you are a right-wing terrorist.

The lawn was too big to do by hand so we called in Mr. BANANA's Lawn Service to mow it for us with the hope the deer would start showing up in time so we could do some porch hunting when the deer season starts.

Bad Bowl Day Leads to Creation of Te Wi Wi Enterprises

Yesterday TWW had a bad bowl day. He had wet sanded several cherry bowls over the winter and then let them dry. The result was a pile of crummy bowls with a strange rough texture the would not show much shine when a mineral oil finish was applied (Never mind the bowls in the pic above don't look any worse than other TWW bowls. It is an optical illusion). The question is how to make the best of a bad situation. These bowls might work for the trailer dwelling market segment but would not work for the gallery goer segment of status-conscious liberal ecotourists.

The answer is simple but brilliant: form a bogus Chinese company and put 'made in China' on the bowls. The trailer dwelling segment will think the bowls are as good as Walmart and scoop them up while the xenophobic liberal crowd that loves to wail about outsourcing jobs to China will not buy them. Instead they will buy TWW's gallery quality series of bowls at a jacked-up price. So watch for the Te Wi Wi label on the bottom of future bowls and of course the 'made in China' on the label.
