Even TWW is good enough at arithmetic to know that means nearly half of what you donate to a charity when these people calls goes to the telemarketing company. Definitely time to donate locally.

TWW Rants Again
After getting numerous calls from the Outreach Association and failing to block them with *60 on our country phone, TWW answered and told them 'Good Bye' but they then called to ask for Mrs TWW. She anwsered and learned it was Habitat for Humanity that was behind the nuisance calls. Building houses for the 'deserving poor' sounds like a worthwhile cause but supporting telemarketing is not. So what to do? Interestingly enough the local branches of Habitat will gladly accept donations so that is our next step. That way the money goes to what it is intended for. listen here tww...i think youre onto something here. once you are on the list...you are on the list. i had a charity bother me no end with stuff addressed to the wife once removed. got sick of that. told the next caller a sob story about loosing the mrs in the mid 70's, and even though its a long time ago, it was still difficult for me to handle. never stopped anything. i even tried sending the empty post paid envelop back..but then of course they didnt know who was doing it. anyways it finally stopped. you gotta remember some of those calls mite be coming from the 'big house'. i had an uncle albert was doing five to seven for a non violent crime. lived in a cottage and worked the phone banks as his job. dey let 'em outta der in three. peace and may the deer not eat youre seedlings. hfec
