What he meant: "Here is an analogy for you on the Syrian refugee issue. There is no reason to hate all dogs since only a very small number of them have rabies. But"
"If there's a rabid dog running around in your neighborhood, you're probably not going to assume something good about that dog," Carson said during a campaign stop in Alabama. "And you're probably going to put your children out of the way. "
"but" ( a word TWW added) "That doesn't mean that you hate all dogs."

TWW's comment: So why weren't the enlightened liberals who know about nuances and all that stuff smart enough to understand a good analogy rather than being horrified?

Double Denier Day (DDD)
TWW turned on liberal National Public Radio today around 5:30AM to learn their version of the truth today since Rush Limbough was not on yet today to reveal the real truth and within two minutes learned it was Double Denier Day. Actually most every day is Double Denier Day lately with so many group shootings for the media and Washington to explain to the masses.
The second story was about the Paris to save the world from Climate Change. You all have heard about the climate deniers who say climate change is not proven and we should wait and see before taking any action that may hurt certain groups like the people who use electricity (that is us).
The first story revealed another type of denial. The reality was right in front of TWW's eyes but he was too blind to see it until today. The first news story was about the man and woman who shot up the party in San Bernadino. The story cautioned that just because the people who were the killers were of Pakistan and Saudia Arabia descent does not mean they were terrorists and we should wait until all the facts are in and nothing has been proved yet. This sounds just like what the climate deniers say. People can bend over backwards to keep from having to admit something is reality. From this it is obvious we are dealing with denial on the liberal side. Let's start calling these people the Jihadism Deniers. Or should we wait for more evidence that this is really what is going on?

enough is enough (defined as what?) -- soapbox of the day

Enough of what? Enough BS? What we really need is an analysis of possible solutions that is objective. But that would be common sense which almost all of the entire gun debate lacks.

big gorilla in the room is time. Society can give someone permission
to get a gun (said to upset the gun people) but how do people know
some time in the future the person will not do something bad
with it. It could
be years. Be watchful for news stories saying the guy in
Colorado Springs bought all of this guns legally. If this is true
what does it mean about common sense gun regulations?

white privelege not in Missouri but rather in Yale - can you tell the difference?

This is talking about the student reaction to an e-mail about Halloween costumes but sure sounds similar to the student demands in MO. The only difference is some of the students in Missouri were actually victims but what difference should reality make to the elite college students.

Great news for gun makers -- as heard on CBS
Don't buy all the BS from the second amendment fanatics. Smart guns are good for the gun industry.
The anti-gun Violence Policy Center said this in a background report:
"Would smart guns entice individuals who otherwise wouldn’t buy a gun to bring a weapon
into their home?
Making smart guns available could increase the chances of selling guns to Americans who
currently do not own them. A March 1997 survey conducted by the National Opinion Research
Center found that, of respondents who were “unlikely to buy a gun in the future,” 35 percent
would “consider buying a handgun that would only fire for the owner of the gun.” Packaged
with a strong sales pitch, the technology could penetrate new markets for a gun industry that is
facing long-term declines in household and personal gun ownership, putting more families at risk
from the well-documented hazards that accompany bringing a gun into a previously gun-free
home."
And always remember more guns means less crime.
