HOW TO ORDER A BOWL
The Warped Woodturner (TWW) is a local artist traveling his artist's journey in a suburb of Springbrook, WI (pop. 536). TWW's creative calling is to use a wood lathe to make useless objects from locally-sequestered organic carbon for tourists to bring back to the city to give to people they had to buy something for but do not like that much. His target market is the senior citizens since their vision is not as good as it used to be so cannot see the defects as well. His marketing jingle is: “Bowls as simple as their creator”.

This may save some trees
There is a free drawing software program TWW finally heard about from the Google people as they try to take over the known world. See: http://sketchup.google.com/intl/en/index.html
TWW may start using this to make bowls to give to people. The basement at GM is not heated too well but still much warmer than the garage in winter. Above is TWW's first try to do a bowl for enhanced life enrichment. If you want to draw stuff see the link above.

The Commies are trying to hack TWW's computer
TWW got a message from his security software saying a certain web site was trying to break into his computer. He used a search engine to find the stuff below. Didn't our leaders say we were safe from Communism years ago?
e.g. 209.62.45.34 IPv4/IPv6 format for an IP Address, or maxmind.com for a website
95.168.173.155 is from Russian Federation
An Internet Protocol address (IP address 95.168.173.155) is a numerical label that is allocated to a computer (can be any electronic device) which is part of a network (NetDirect) that utilises the Internet Protocol. Every IP address does the following: (1) location addressing and (2) host or network interface identification.

First Donation to Italian Dinner
Garbin Moraine received the first donation to the Italian last night from JAJA the Elder in Denver. The family thanks JAJA for the donation. A little mouse got into the package last night and one box was empty today so we are going to lock the basket up where the mice cannot get at it. If you want to donate to the Italian dinner use the Donate button. If you have donated to previous dinners please do not feel obligated to donate again.

Odin and Sputnik Bowls
These three are going to be given to Odin (Wikipedia says " Odin is a principal member of the Æsir (the major group of the Norse pantheon) and is associated with war, battle, victory and death..." so TWW hopes to pacify him.)
The bowl below is a Sputnik bowl since it bring back of memories of Butterfield where a Sputnik fell from the sky and landed in a tree on a farm near there when TWW was little. This bowl is meant to be put on a table and filled with wrapped candies. Next you get a mark to pick up the bowl and all the candies fall through the open bottom. It is best not to do this when there is anything near the bowl on the table in case the mark panics and starts flailing his arms to stop the candies from falling out. This type of bowl get high marks from the renew, reuse and recycle crowd since it is junk to throw away caused by a lack of attention on the part of a lathe operator.

Dulute billboard message mystery deepens
(refers to post below about trip to Dulute)
"THREE JUVENILES accused of assaulting a cabdriver and his passenger in Center City Saturday night while shouting racial slurs will not be charged with a hate crime, the District Attorney's Office said yesterday.......The teens, who are black, were not charged with hate crimes because there was no evidence that the assault had been motivated by the race of the victims, who are white, said Tasha Jamerson, D.A. spokeswoman. Just shouting racial epithets during the commission of a crime doesn't rise to the level of ethnic intimidation, she said."
source:http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20120203_No_hate_charges_in_attack.html?c=0.14090962996337186&posted=y&viewAll=y#comments
Update: The scales have fallen from TWW's eyes. He now realizes the prosecuting attorney in Philadelphia who did the work so they could make the comments above was a white person who could not see racism. That is the only logical explanation.

Enlightenment from a trip to Dulute
A billboard in Dulute said "If you are white you cannot see racism".
TWW got to wondering what this meant. It is logical to then ask if your father was black and your mother white (or vice versa) does that mean you cannot half-way see racism?

Where's TWW ?
TWW thinks his name is somewhere on one of the Walker recall petitions. He is offering a free custom bowl in the wood of your choice if you can find his name.

Latest review of tis blog
Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "Only 8 more MAMA bowls to go":
He would be really curious to know how this is possible. If your website content is of poor quality, doesn't make sense or if it is written in poor English, it will be sent into the trashcan. You can get grasses that grow very tall and you can get others that do not grow very high. reviewer However due to a certain astronomical phenomenon, called the precession of the equinoxes, this is no longer the case. Overall the video game reviews for Assassin's Creed Revelations have been fairly high.

Barkless natural edge oak firewood bowl
This odd-shaped bowl was hard to get a good picture of. The flattened edges are the outside of the now deceased oak tree. The bowls are made by turning the chunk of wood upside down on the lathe when starting out.
