TWW's dream floor

TWW has always wanted a plywood floor finished with poly. M---> looked like she was having so much fun puling off the rug in the bedroom TWW thought he would do the same in the hallway.  TWW is off to town today to get some poly and ice cream.

The good people at R and M----> Floor Laying Company was up Saturday to lay the new floor for Mrs. TWW. The end result was great.

We are not sure why they wanted to cold air return at the odd angle but they are the exerts in this stuff.

Great way to stick it to the Islamists

Do you dislike Muslims and like to see bad things happen to them? The Democrats are giving you an opportunity to deprive followers of Islam of their rights.  Since many of the people on the no fly lists are followers of Islam it is a good way to stick it to Muslims. Call your people in Washington today and demand they deprive Muslims of their right to buy guns.

Irony of the day

The PC people have been preaching to all us country hicks how we should be accepting the fact that when a person born a man says he is a woman he gets to be treated like a woman. So TWW accepted that people get to be who they claim to be rather than risk more diversity training.

Now along comes the person who will not be named in Orlando who killed all the people.  He called 911 and pledged allegiance to ISIS but we cannot say that means he was a terrorist after he said he supported terrorism. TWW wonders what bathroom he was using at the time.

With every tragedy comes people saying dumb stuff

They are acting just like Trump. Again the solution to Trump is to vote for the experienced governors who are the Libertarian candidates for president not the reality TV star or Crooked Hillary.

Hispanic Preservationists for Trump arising?

Preservationists are people who build their beautiful homes in scenic areas then turn around and call for a ban on change. They have theirs and don't want others to mess things up.  (never mind how their building of their homes messed things up previously). So are we starting to see the same with the Hispanic people here who got theirs by becoming citizens of the US and now do not want to see things go down hill?

Gov. William Weld wins Libertarian VP nomination

ORLANDO — Today two-term Massachusetts governor William Weld became the vice presidential nominee for the Libertarian Party at its nominating convention.

Earlier today, the delegates elected two-term New Mexico governor Gary Johnson to be the party’s presidential nominee.

“This is the highest-profile ticket in the Libertarian Party’s history,” said Nicholas Sarwark, Libertarian Party Chair. “And it comes at a time when Americans yearn for a credible alternative to Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton.”

Weld won 441 votes on the second ballot, barely over the required majority of votes needed. Larry Sharpe, a trainer and coach for executives, came in second place with 409 votes.

The Libertarian, Democratic, and Republican parties are the only political parties in the United States expected to be on the ballot in all fifty states this November."

Bear picture

For viewers who wanted to see the bear who invited himself to supper a few weeks ago we are sorry to report we have not seen him for a while. Perhaps shooting at him made him feel unwelcome.    One of his yearling cousins was walking across our valley tonight.

Chasing the critters away

Guess who is coming to dinner

TWW got some new-fangled frozen General Zao or some such frozen meal recently. Tonight it was time to try it out. You have to bake this stuff for 40 minutes so TWW opened the front door and some windows to keep from building up whatever gases you get from burning propane in the house (they call the air polluter thing an oven). So anyway after about 40 minutes of baking it was getting close to the time to take a plastic cover off and bake it 20 minutes more.  It really smelled good. 

After putting it back in the oven TWW looked for some reason at the boardwalk coming up to the house and saw a two year old bear coming up to visit and stay for supper. The bear was almost on the porch and looked hungry.  Instead of closing the door like a smart person would do TWW ran into the bedroom to get a noisemaker to try to convince the bear that coming to visit would be hard on his ears. By the time he got back to the door the bear had decided to turn around and then started running after TWW shot once off to the side.  The color of the bear will not be named not to offend anybody's sensitivities but TWW hopes the black lives matter people do not to picket places that are not nice to bears.

Now if TWW had been smart he would have gotten a camera and taken some pictures of the bear trying to work the screen door to get in but such is life. 

And the guns in the bathroom people need their time in the sun too

But the school district wants to shut down the gathering — and as evidenced by the video — they will do anything to make sure that eventually happens."

But it gets even better: “Many students have conveyed to us their concern about a group offering free food to incentivize participation in a religious event on campus,” he told News8000.com. “The result of which has a divisive impact on our learning community.”

The principal suggested that some students loathe the event so much they become hysterical. 

“There are some students that when they know this day is coming, they will leave school early,” he told the news organization. “We have some students that staff will find sitting in the hallway crying.”

Comment: The very thought of something going on is traumatizing for kids even though they do not have to go. This is what the future generations are coming to?
