Another crackpot letter to the editor?

While the recent Colorado mass shooting is a tragedy it also highlights an unmet market niche and I don't mean the market niche of people believing safety magically comes from having a gun. That one is already well-served. But after each tragedy you hear the firearm-phobes demanding common sense laws to help make them feel safe. Imagining guns are nearby or even the sight of a  weapons prohibiting  sign makes these people uneasy since they know no guns inside means guns outside. The only way firearm-phobes can feel safe is knowing they are in a place nobody is armed. This creates an opportunity for the local hospitality industry to open some au naturel resorts where arriving guests pass through a shedding shed with metal detectors and then come out proving they are not carrying any weapons. Then firearm-phobes can finally relax and lounge in the sun and play in the water. The resorts could have webcams to advertise how safe the clients were and of course the clients could use their cellphones to put pictures of themselves on their Facebook pages or even on the website Nudist Avenue. It's a bit ironic but resorts like this would need to have guards to protect the patrons though the guards would have to be unarmed so the patrons would not feel uncomfortable. As one writer said places like these  au naturel resorts are like hunting preserves for the madmen who prey on fellow humans. It's only common sense.
