HOW TO ORDER A BOWL
The Warped Woodturner (TWW) is a local artist traveling his artist's journey in a suburb of Springbrook, WI (pop. 536). TWW's creative calling is to use a wood lathe to make useless objects from locally-sequestered organic carbon for tourists to bring back to the city to give to people they had to buy something for but do not like that much. His target market is the senior citizens since their vision is not as good as it used to be so cannot see the defects as well. His marketing jingle is: “Bowls as simple as their creator”.

" Let The Light OF Truth Shine!!! Let's show our support for George Zimmerman and Light a Candle for him at 9:30 on June 29th. The time of his bond hearing. Doing so we are praying for a great day tomorrow and Geoge to be freed from jail so he can help his amazing lawyer Mr. Mark Omara prepare for the next steps taken to prove his innocence!!"

MN environmentalists have a way to put their money where their mouths are
People in MN who get their electrons from Xcel can get most of their electricity from their sacred wind machines for about $10 a month. Do you hear about scads of environmentalists using this program? Probably not. Complaining is free.

Great money making opportunity in hard times
"The woman held hostage at Woodbridge Center shopping mall plans to sue the township for $5 million, claiming it failed to protect public safety and that she was injured as a result of the officer’s acts.".....
"On March 8, Andres Garcia, 44, of Paterson, a convicted robber wanted for a parole violation, was fleeing police after a shoplifting incident in the mall. He grabbed Ellen Shane by her hair, pulled her away from her husband, held a knife to her throat and dragged her to the Sears store."

the godfather has spoken
"(4) Finally, about claims “the science is settled” on global warming: “One thing that being a scientist has taught me is that you can never be certain about anything. You never know the truth. You can only approach it and hope to get a bit nearer to it each time. You iterate towards the truth. You don’t know it.” "

Latest storm results
3" of unmowed grass and weeds but only 1" of new rain (3.5" was in gauge last week) -- the rain did not make it west of Duluth |
Mrs. TWW's raised hostas bed section #1 delayed by weather |
Latest freeloader to visit seen above. Also, the cute little bear was on the boardwalk walking up to the house last night to get a free handout from Mrs. TWW but ran away when he saw TWW at the door. |

Finally some good multiculturalism news
"Asian immigrants to U.S. surpass Hispanics for first time
Asians have surpassed Hispanics as the largest group of new immigrants to the United States, according to a new study from the Pew Research Center.
The study, called "The Rise of Asian Americans" and released on Tuesday, reveals that Asian-Americans also have the highest income, are the best educated and are the fastest-growing racial group in America."

Now the war against the pigs
Indiana is the first U.S. state to specifically allow force against officers, according to the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys in Washington, which represents and supports prosecutors. The National Rifle Association pushed for the law, saying an unfavorable court decision made the need clear and that it would allow homeowners to defend themselves during a violent, unjustified attack. Police lobbied against it.

Technical problems prevent documentation
Yesterday TWW ran down to get the want ads from the mail box. On the way he greeted a turtle at the end of his driveway. After coming back home and showering he noticed the turtle on this front porch about eight feet from the front door looking for a handout. Instead of giving the turtle a free lunch TWW went down and got the camera to document this latest freeloading attempt by local wild creatures. Unfortunately while uploading the photos they got deleted so you will have to take TWW's word for it this time.
