The Warped Woodturner (TWW) is a local artist traveling his artist's journey in a suburb of Springbrook, WI (pop. 536). TWW's creative calling is to use a wood lathe to make useless objects from locally-sequestered organic carbon for tourists to bring back to the city to give to people they had to buy something for but do not like that much. His target market is the senior citizens since their vision is not as good as it used to be so cannot see the defects as well. His marketing jingle is: “Bowls as simple as their creator”.

More do as I say not as I do

Some interesting news has broken in the wake of the latest push for gun control by President Obama and Senate Democrats: Obama sends his kids to a school where armed guards are used as a matter of fact."

A few facts from some other  Bovine Scatology people: 
  • "According to the National Center for Education Statistics, 57% of public schools in the United States had no security staff present at any time during the week in 2009-2010, the most recent year data were available. Even more — nearly 70% — had no police officer in the school every week."
  • "The number of schools with security guards or police officers hasn't changed much since 2004, when 45% of schools said they had security staff present on a regular basis."

Note: 30 - 45% of the schools have security staff but it is a crazy idea to expand it to all schools.
