The Warped Woodturner (TWW) is a local artist traveling his artist's journey in a suburb of Springbrook, WI (pop. 536). TWW's creative calling is to use a wood lathe to make useless objects from locally-sequestered organic carbon for tourists to bring back to the city to give to people they had to buy something for but do not like that much. His target market is the senior citizens since their vision is not as good as it used to be so cannot see the defects as well. His marketing jingle is: “Bowls as simple as their creator”.

Given the boring lifestyle of the TWWT sometimes Mrs. TWWT invites swarms of relatives up to relieve the boredom. Over Labor Day she invited up a niece, MKA., who had just spent a year in Spain working on her degree in partying. (She is seen here on one of her road trips). MKA pomised to bring her mentor Ms Aquafiestas with as the main entertainment act. Ms. Aqufiestas was MKA's mentor who helped turn a shy, quiet girl into a raging party animal in one short year. The evening promised to be a winner until we learned Ms. Aquafiestas had a headache and could not attend. MKA took decisive action to save the party and was somewhat successful. Even without the main act this weekend will probably be the most exciting time of the year up in in the middle of nowhere. Posted by Picasa
