TWW is The Warped Woodturner who is a local artist living in a suburb of Springbrook, WI (pop 87). His mission is to use a wood lathe to make interesting but mostly useless objects from locally-sequestered carbon for tourists to bring back to the city to give to people they had to buy something for but don't like that well. His target market is the senior citizens since their vision is not as good as it used to be so cannot see the defects as well.

Affirmative action plan

Since the Paper White on the right was growing so fast compared to the other ones the people at GM are proposing the following solution to keep the local Equality Council off of our necks.

Proposed Appearance After Affirmative Action

Before
We hope 'they' will agree to this proposal.

Another big pussycat seen

HAYWARD– The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says it has confirmed a cougar sighting on the Chippewa Flowage east of Hayward.
The cougar was spotted Saturday Jan. 19 by area resident Russ Smith just off the Chippewa Flowage, about two miles east of Treeland’s Resort."

Good bye to Ron and Alma's ?

The Democrats war on men beginning??

First,  Obama wanted to take the powerful guns away from men.

Then he (through the Secretary of Defense) took away the 'men only' jobs in the Army.

And now "In an interview released online Sunday, Obama said if he had a son, he'd "have to think long and hard before I let him play football."  "- source: http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2013/01/27/obama-questions-whether-risks-of-football-worth-it-for-college-players/comment-page-5/  Women will love this since they think it will mean their husbands will pay more attention to them with no football.

What will be next?? Fishing rods (they are phallic symbols)?  Fox News?  Hunting? Stay tuned.

Another big dusting of snow last night

TWW's tracks made checking if he needed to call the snow plow guy

Remember 40% of gun sales are a loophole -- more BS?

"Interestingly, while people often speak of the “gun show loophole,” the data in this 1994 survey shows that only 3.9 percent of firearm purchases were made at gun shows."

Times have changed

"The president's inaugural themes lingered in the air this morning at a traditional prayer service at the Washington National Cathedral. Methodist Pastor Adam Hamilton offered words of praise in the cathedral's great vaulted sanctuary."
When TWW heard that on the PBS News Hour last night he expected the minister to praise God but instead the minister praised President Obama. Times have changed.
"REV. ADAM HAMILTON, United Methodist Church of the Resurrection: We Americans say it seldom, but we should say it far more often. Thank you for giving yourselves, for sacrificing, for living in glass houses, for accepting the constant barrage of criticism with very little praise, for being willing to risk everything in order to serve this country. Thank you."

Global Warming Days Festival Cancelled

The management of the Garbin Moraine Foundation regretfully announces the 1st annual Global Warming Festival has been cancelled due to inclement weather.  So instead of noisy inebriated crowds all you can hear on Garbin Moraine this morning is cracking trees. We hope to hold the festival next year when Global Warming heats things up a bit.

More media Bovine Scat: White House Loon In Bizarre Rant

" A few weeks ago, when NRA’s Wayne LaPierre explained that his organization wanted armed security in schools, the mainstream media and the anti-gunners alike excoriated him.  One New York tabloid devoted its front page to a headline that said something like, “Gun Nut: NRA Loon In Bizarre Rant.”  Yet this morning, our President said one of his own priorities was to put cops in schools in hopes of preventing a repeat of the Newtown Atrocity.  Will the same New York tabloid run a headline tomorrow that reads, “White House Loon In Bizarre Rant”?"

Have you actually read what President BHO actually proposed or trusted the media elite to tell you what it was?  But then this link is to Fox News so it cannot be true can it?  TWW is glad BHO did not listen to the liberal media scat.

Quote of the day

"  “The issue is: Are there some sensible steps that we can take to make sure that somebody like the individual in Newtown can’t walk into a school and gun down a bunch of children in a — in a shockingly rapid fashion?” Obama said at Monday’s news conference. “And surely we can do something about that.” "

TWW says: Maybe he should ask the NRA about the armed guard option for starters.

New sleeping chair in the library

The TWWs got this chair for Christmas.  It is a home business.  People can rent it if they need to take nap after supper.  Currently we are running a Winter special. The first hour is only $5.00 and every hour after that is half price. Due to generous contributions of alcohol RARA and GAGA are entitled to a free hour.  See Mrs TWW for details upon arrival.

Man talks with split tongue?

A while back he said this:

But now that he does not have to run again ..............well maybe he is talking about reasonable controls which means if you are against the controls you are unreasonable and need more education in a public school.

Egopictures of the day

Mrs. and Mrs.  TWW trying to pretend they are young with pictures of themselves doing something self-absorbing while pretending to do something social with other people. Note: the photos are from the webcam on a Nexus 7 and that is supposed to impress you.
