The Warped Woodturner (TWW) is a local artist traveling his artist's journey in a suburb of Springbrook, WI (pop. 536). TWW's creative calling is to use a wood lathe to make useless objects from locally-sequestered organic carbon for tourists to bring back to the city to give to people they had to buy something for but do not like that much. His target market is the senior citizens since their vision is not as good as it used to be so cannot see the defects as well. His marketing jingle is: “Bowls as simple as their creator”.

More freeloaders

Once again more proof (will it ever end?)

“The world has been chilling sharply for about twenty years. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.”

More of we are spending our children's

"A new Gallup/USA Today poll contains a counterintuitive finding: the age group most receptive to House Budget Chair Paul Ryan's plan to deal with the budget - seniors.

The poll finds 48 percent of seniors (those 65 and over) support Ryan's plan over President Obama's plan, while 42 percent back the president.
That's the highest total among the age groups tested - a 47 percent plurality between the ages of 50 and 64 backed Ryan, and a 45 percent plurality of those between 30-49 backed Ryan. But young voters overwhelmingly sided with Obama by a 23-point margin, 53 to 30 percent."

Recycled post image

It is cloudy on GM today so TWW is going to recycle his favorite Internet image.   This a copy of our LEADER's birth certificate proving he was born in HI (probably true by the way).  The certificate has a statement at the bottom saying if it is altered it is invalid. See the blacked out part after the certificate number which looks like is an alteration of the certificate proving it was altered so cannot be counted as proof. Have you ever gotten a passport or applied for Social Security and had to give the government a passport as proof?  What is our LEADER trying to prove or conceal by not releasing his birth certificate? Oh, I get it.  There are cottage industries employing right-wingers so it is part of a stimulus program.

Here is an example of the results of the stimulus program:

you can get it at Amazon

You know it has been a long winter

when you get life enrichment from polyurethane on strange-shaped wooden boards.

Pledge Week is Still going

Mrs. TWW has pledged a generous donation to the French Dinner so now four of 15 dinners are paid for. Do you share today. See the different donation levels by clicking on the little triangle by the Donate button above. Don't let some family members go hungry. (don't worry about them going thirsty)

Gloomy weather bad for morals

It will be like this until next week from the sound of things.

Latest global warming project

This is a large block of ice covered with lathe shavings. The shavings will insulate it until some hot night in August when it will be used to cool down GM.

Beating head against the wall

View of Swamp Lake from up on the roof

View of the garbin from atop GM Manor
TWW beating head against the wall since nothing working again
s

The TV station is over there someplace but nothing is coming in
The antenna pointing  at Dulute is working but not the Park Falls one.
Finally out of desperation TWW called WI public TV and learned the station
over in Park  Falls was broken. The morale?  When something is wrong
blame the government.
