The Warped Woodturner (TWW) is a local artist traveling his artist's journey in a suburb of Springbrook, WI (pop. 536). TWW's creative calling is to use a wood lathe to make useless objects from locally-sequestered organic carbon for tourists to bring back to the city to give to people they had to buy something for but do not like that much. His target market is the senior citizens since their vision is not as good as it used to be so cannot see the defects as well. His marketing jingle is: “Bowls as simple as their creator”.

BO has it wrong - part 2

In the earlier post about how BO got it wrong, we got it wrong ourselves. We forgot people have two hands. Some bitter country people may cling to their guns and Bibles and dislike people who are different (like politicians) but at night they give that all up and cling to their both their TV remotes and their TV beer cans.

Bloggers Note:
Since the readership of this blog is growing steadily (up to double digits now per month), we'd better have a little tutorial on TV beer for the new people. Everyone has probably seen the As Seen on TV logo where mediocre products are informercialed on TV. The same is true for beer. The big breweries spend mucho money advertising their bland, overpriced products on TV. At Garbin Moraine we disdainfully call this beer TV beer. Usually TV beer comes in an aluminum can (which may be link to Alzheimer's disease) and not a bottle.
